what was the exact SES code you were setting? If it was a FRONT oxygen sensor then yes this can hurt performance... if it was a rear oxygen sensor then no it won't have any affect on performance
The sensors are located in the exhaust stream... 1 before the cat 1 after, 2 on each side (4 sensors total, only fronts have any affect on performance)

by the way the codes when i had it checked there were 3 different ones
1. (PO131) o2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 1)
2. (PO151) o2 sensor (bank 2 sensor 1)
3. (PO410) Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction ?????????????
Then here at the bottom of this paper this info is on it says DTC pending code and it is the #3 the PO410?? what does that mean?

check all the fuses under the hood... those low voltage codes for both O2 sensors would lead me to suspect an electrical issue and not a bad O2 sensor (or possibly 1 bad O2 that's causing hte fuse to blow)
Did this light come on after doing some mods or work to the car? (IE putting headers on or doing exhaust work) ?
Check all of the fuses under the hood... replace any that are blown and jot down which they are... see if it blows again... if it does then you've gotta short somewhere... most likely a wire hitting hte header somewhere, bad O2 sensor, etc... but i doubt both O2 sensors are bad... gotta be a blown fuse or something
(and yes this will hurt performance... significantly if you're car's not tuned to run w/out O2s)

car has 72k so might be time to change the 02 sensors.
but changing 4 x $50 sucks. www.oxygensensors.com
should i just change the front ones and turn off the rear 02 sensors with HP Tuners?
(i have completely stock exhaust).

Might want to replace the front 02s if needed. The rear 02s is up to you. They dont do anything as it is. If the rear 02s are bad the only thing you will get would be a check engine light.

i checked my fuses and they are good so i dont know why it is saying that both of my front sesors are bad unless they both went bad at the same time which dont sound right!!! i dunno if i cant find nothing out by this weekend i will replace them both. but last week i did have them turn my engine light off so i will have them check it again before i do both !
