Question Open loop all the time, slow O2s???

I'm trying to tune a 99 M6 Formula with the follow mods with LS1 Edit:

MTI X1 Cam
5.3 STG 2 Heads
Lid
Jet Hot LT with cats (small plug in style)
Borla Catback
Pulley

The problem I am having is, it seems to be stuck in open loop mode, the Strims do not come up (always at 0) and the O2 switching is almost non exsistant when you view it on the HP Tuner scanner. The O2 voltages seem to favor the high side of the scale.

Could it be possible that BOTH O2 are gone?

The car always runs in Fuel Cell 22 and sometimes 21.

It start fine, runs fine for the most part but we are getting a little knock up top but we are just working on the part throttle tuning first before the WOT dyno tuning.

I am guessing that his computer is f'd up somehow. Reckless (Todd) did a little tweaking on his car last year when it was stock and he even noticed it was running in open loop a lot.

I told him to get a computer from a junk yard and we'll go from there. I'll just have to use my HP Tuner software to tune him instead of going through the big hassle with LS1 Edit to get the vin changed...

Any thoughts?

Bill

If the O2s are reading high then they are, at
least, alive. So they sould not be what's sending
it into open loop.

Might check that nothing funny was done to the
closed loop enable ECT value and stuff like that.
Maybe some work was being done with open loop
tuning and something didn't get put back.

check for deleted codes that may lead you to the real problem.

I checked for all that and compared to another known good stock file, mine.
