Afr - Help
I need help before I blow up the engine. The runs very rich as the RPMs go up - the AFR table below;
1000 12.44
2000 12.08
3000 12.95
4000 12.20
5000 10.88
6000 10.85
The following is PCM I'm using for these numbers above;
0 1.102
400 1.102
800 1.102
1200 1.105
1600 1.105
2000 1.089
2400 1.101
2800 1.130
3200 1.145
3600 1.143
4000 1.145
4400 1.136
4800 1.049
5200 1.036
5600 1.007
6000 1.051
6400 1.046
6800 1.040
7200 1.036
When I recalculate the number using the latest AFR from my WB sensor, the numbers go below "1". Is there something causing the computer to add to AFR at high RPMs?
I need some help before I lean the sucker out and do some damage.
Thanks
Bill
result. I think the high RPM enrichment may be COT
kicking in; did you turn this off? Otherwise it seems
you have either something overriding the PE table
(like the open loop fuel/air table), or your fuel and/or
airflow calibration is really bent. If the cals are all
reading true then 1.15 FAM should make you 12.8:1.

THANKS - I will do that and look for some indication that the PE table is being overridden.
