98 maf same as 99 and up?

98 maf same as 99 and up?

wondering if I can use a 99 and up on my car because the wires are damaged on my sensor

the maf's 1998-2002 f-car are the same.

Its just the 1998 computer only accepts to the 11250 hz output, where the 99+ goes to 12,000hz

so its still compatable even though I have 28 lb injectors as compared to the 99 and up 26's? I just don't want to have any issues with nitrous if you know what I mean.

Yes, identical P/N, just tune calibration differences
compensate for injector, manifold, EGR, etc. changes
across the years.

so can I use a 99 and up maf on my car with a stock computer? I do not have ls1 edit and have no way to recalibrate anything
