Default COT Question

Hi Folks
In order to get the correct AFR, I had to disable my COT (Recommendation by a member). My question is what damage will happen with the COT disabled? I am sure it is there to protect the CATS from over heating but under normal condition, I can't see that happening (over heating). Under WOT and a long run, I see there could be problems but I really don't know - that is why I am asking the question.
Thanks
Bill

you can keep the COT turn on and you can raise the limits by 10%, that way you still have the protection if it's really needed.
