Driveability????
Driveability???? Looking for opinions ....
People with high rpm stall speeds(4000 rpm), are the gains real noticeable with before and after tuning?????
Going from stock tune to custom programming,how much difference is noticed.
Also , is there a lot of power or performance gains with a custom tune.
I have a 00 SS A4 ,with Hooker LT's,ORY Borla,GMAS,lid,K&N,NGK TR6's,02 simms,free mods and a SS4000 stall with 3:23 gears. Also a NX 150 shot in there too. Almost forgot,!egr and ! a.i.r. system. I hate the SES light being on all the time.
How much perfomance and driveablity am i losing without tuning with this set-up.
I want to get it running propperly with those mods,but don't know what to expect from just tuning.

I don't have a big stall. But there is plenty of improvement
to be had from transmission tuning even with the stock
converter, and you will want to modify the TCC action
in particular for higher stall converters. Also expect you may
have to play with idle a bit as the lower mass makes idle
less stable.
