reading Predator tune

Default reading Predator tune

Can I read a Predator tune using LS1 Edit?

You should be able to read it from the car's PCM. But not straight from the file. A least that is how it works with HP Tuner.

I want to load the Predator tune into the PCM and download it into LS1 Edit and see what changes Predator uses in their tune.

I have done this with HPTuners. Predator is not doing
anything sophisticated, just diddling a very few settings.
There is no locking or anything like that.

I loaded the Predator tune and read it with LS1 Edit.
Differences are minimal - most changes in torque management and transmission calibration.
Fuel was changed in the 'power enrichment vs RPM' table.
Ignition was changed in the 'high octane spark advance' table.

Yep, that sounds about right. Leans it out a tad, adds some timing, & messes with the tranny settings.
