I'll post some screenshots sunday hopefully... I have a lot to do to get the car race ready but if all goes well I'll post how I tuned the car at the track on Sunday using our new features.

This is from the HPT site
"You can renew at any time without penalty. Stay current with the latest software version. "
Minor software updates and bug fixes are free for life.

as i understand this, you can wait until v2 comes out and if it is after you're support has run out no problem just renew ($99)and download v2.0

This is unbelievable, a software package that will tune your VE table/ A-F ratio for you (provided you have a wideband.) I though 1.5 was a break through. This is outrageous. Way to raise the bar yet again on a great product

Thanks.. if you guys think 1.5 and 1.6 are amazing you're going to love what 2.0 has to offer.
2.0 will put any other tuning software available to shame. It will no doubt be the easiest tuning software to use. Clean, Professional, Packed with USEFUL features, and extremely easy to navigate.

If I was going to buy HPtuners should I get 1.6 right now? Or wait till 2.0 comes out? How long till the release date? I dont want to have to pay a big upgrade when something new comes out RIGHT after I buy something. Any time frame?

A couple questions for you Keith:
If someone buys now, and the release of 2.0 is delayed later than the 6 months, will they still get to upgrade?
Are there going to be more vehicles to choose from in the future? I mean, I have a friend with a '97 Z28 LT1 that would pay me to tune his car, but that is not offered. Are there plans to add more vehicle types?
When upgrading to 2.0, will it be a simple download? Will every file made with the earlier version be able to be edited with 2.0?
Anything else you can tell us about it?

matts22,
If the release date for 2.0 is 6 months away then no you will not receive it for free. It will not be 6 months away though as I get to play with 2.0 daily.
Yes, there will be much more vehicles supported. We have 2 rather large projects right now and all of our small projects (vehicle support). We have a VERY long list of more vehicles we are adding to our support list.. Duramax, 4 cyl, and yes.. possibly even the LT1's.
Yes it will be a download/install update and will be rather simple. It will be backwards compatable as well.
