Newbie Questions
Newbie Questions OK for starters I finished putting in a 2001 6.0L into my Silverado. I disabled the VATS and got the truck to run decent. Anyways the battery light comes on all of the time. I am guessing the the wiring harnesses are a bit different between 1999 and 2001. Do I have to get a different style alternator and add something to the wire harness? Also my gas gauge does not work. I do have HP Tuners. Is there anywat to make this work? Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

The tranny seems to work fine. It really doens't work when the 1999 5.3 comp is in there. I am taking the truck to Speed INC. on Thursday to have it dyno tuned do you think they will know what to do?
