Help I,was trying to program my 98ss with my hypertech programmer,and my car battery went dead. I charged my battery & tried to continue the programing but the hypertech says code 6 call hypertech,but they are on vacation unti Jan 3. Mean while my car just cranks over and will not start.Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 
your going to need a reflash from the dealer, or somebody local with hptuners.
What kind of transmission do you have? If its a M6, send me a pm, i have a spare 98 pcm i could help you out with.

hmmm... good question...
I would think that as long as it's the same PCM and same VIN... he could select to restore back to stock ... then reapply any HPP3 settings

pull all the fuses, unhook bat, and let it sit for some hours. try to reload the program. sometimes itll catch it
I had a couple people do this with their hypertechs, I just hit them with a full reflash with my software and so far everyone has worked fine
