engine harness
engine harness i am just wondering if anyone knows what engine harnesses will interchange years and engines
ls1,ls6, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0
i think its the 98-99 are the same and the 99 up are the same but i dunno for sure
i just bought a 99 5.3 and im goin to use a ls1 intake on it and wondering what harness i can use on it
some people say the ls1 ecu is a better ecu to use with this engine have any of you heard this
any help its helpful

not sure about the truck... 99-02 harnesses should be interchangeable PCM level... 98 is a totally different animal (this is for F-Bodies that is... I don't know for sure about any other vehicle)
99-00 should be the same, but 01-02 may have a few less wires due to lack of EGR etc...

ok i jsut got a 99 ls1 pcm so i could use a 99 up ls1 harness is this correct i plan on having the harness modified anyway and deleting egr and what ever else i dont need
i will probably get hpt or some other tuning software
and who is the best and cheapest place to modify a stock harness
