I am sure that this question has been asked all the time but any info will greatly be appreciated. I am going to buy HP Tuners for my silverado. I need to start learning the language. How did everyone start off, what did you read. For example I need to learn what to voltage values mean off of fuel injectors and what value corresponds to them maxing out. Did you guys just read the manual when it came in.

Also I saw that there is a sticky for binary files, is this a good place to start and try some of those files.

I would suggest that you understand what the files are before you start uploading them into your truck. I started with the easy stuff first, disabling codes, rev limiter, etc. Then I read ALOT and started making minor changes and logging a lot of driving. The HP Tuners help files are extremely useful when you get the program. Good luck and I suggest a lot of reading on LS1 Tech and the HP Tuners website.
