Default Help w/ startup.... too rich...

I am having a problem w/ my 00 Vette. I just removed the cats and now it will flood out on the start up!!! I will run but if I stall it when trying to move it the next time i go to start it, it will flood out and then I will have to let it sit for like a hour or two to try and start it up again.

I do park it for the winter since I live in PA and we get snow. Could it be due to the colder temps and i never drive it in the winter. Or is there something i am forgetting to do since i removed the cats?

I don't know what the problem is, but there is a flood clear feature in the pcm. If you crank the car over with the gas pedal held down the pcm won't fire the injectors and it'll blow the gas out. I know that's not a solution, but it's better than letting your car sit for an hour before you can drive it.

You didn't put o2 sims on the front o2 wires or anything did you?

no i think i figured it out. I have a S/C and run NGK TR6 which had about 5k on them and plus this cold weather and being a colder plug i was getting barely any spark. So i took a set of extra stock plugs i had and they had major spark. Swapped all the plugs and the car fires right up and won't flood out..

I think the plugs were shoot and plus the cold weather didn't help
