Wideband is definetly worth it, but not required... you can still tune w/the narrowband, but wideband is more accurate
if you want to run wideband you need to buy the EIO option for HPT ... this can be done at time of purchase
Wideband needs to be bought seperately.. dynojet and Innovate Motorsports LM-1 are very popular models, and they both use the "cheap VW sensors" which are accurate, but much less costly to replace a fouled out sensor (aroud 40 bux to replace compared to 100+ for the sensors some others use)
