Default obdii -> rs232 cable/adaptor

What's the cheapest adaptor that supports high speed mode?

I'm not interested in PCM programming, nor a fancy interface.

I'm currently using ELM322 and it does everything I need, SLOWLY

Thanks.

The issue is not high speed mode.. the issue is the latency in your device or your data retreival method.

OK, I have noticed that with the ELM, there's about a 60 ms lag between the time the data comes back, and the time I get the prompt to submit the next request. So, if that's what you're talking about, then, yes, eliminating that would make me happy.

Either way, any better alternatives to ELM for people who just want to do fast data scans?
