Homegrown PCM...anybody ever done it?
I have done some work with embedded microprocessors, both from the hardware and the software aspect so I have been wondering if anyone has attempted to build/program their own PCM. I have never seen the source code for a PCM but with the source code I feel that someone could build their own system. Anyone given a try?

megasquirt is a build it yourself type PCM ... search this forum for it and there's a few posts describing it .. not sure if it's open source or not though

megasquirt is open source.. the code is out there.. and anyone is free to modify it.
ive built a megasquirt ECM.. they're cool. matter of fact i have it just sitting here.. lol. i was going to 'squirt my solid roller 400... with the intentions of running boost...
but then i swapped to a LS1... similar power output, same price (cheaper actually since i sold all my SBC stuff) and the LS1 gets better MPG.. lol.
