Question help with hptuners

is the VE 3d graph supposed to be smooth when you get your ltfts between 0and-4? mine has a spike in it. around 3600-4400rpm and 15-35KPa. also the begining of the graph 400-2000rpm and 15-45KPa is choppy. i dont know how to post pics, but i can take them and send them to you if you can help, or i can send my .bin file.

Your 3-D graph won't necessarily be smooth after you're done with the VE tuning. Once all your Ltrim's are in line then you need to hand smooth the table. I use the 3-D graph and pick the values where the spike is and adjust the 3-D graph with the mouse. If you click on the graph and move your mouse forward and backward, it adjusts the point where you picked higher and lower. Do this to get the graph smooth and re log your Ltrims. It took me a couple of changes and logs to get it right. You could also use the tables to get it smooth too but I found it easier to use the 3-D graph initially to get it close. Good luck.
