disable torque mngt on a M6?
TCS Retard vs RPM = 0
2nd TCS Retard vs RPM = 0
Max Torque = 639.0
Abuse Mode Test
if RPM > 6600
if speed < 0
I have no CATS so
COT enabled = False
someone on another site suggested this. I was confused b/c I didn't think an M6 had torque management.

I didn't think there was TM in M6 either, but there was a post on our local message board where it was brought up and INTMD8 (Speed Inc's tuner... very knowledgable person who knows his ****) brought up that M6's do indeed have some torque management
I'm guessing the code on the M6 is such that when the clutch is applied it pulls timing in anticipation of the shift

There's torque management, and traction control (TCS {ASR for the Camaro folks}). Hitting the button to turn on/off TCS/ASR has no effect on torque management. I've heard that there's some interconnection in the tables in LS1Edit between torque management and traction control..but I don't understand it well enough to know if that's true or not.
Mayver, I'm guessing those values are from your car. Do you have traction control or not? I'd like to see how those values compare across a car (one with traction control, one without) of the same transmission type. I'm got one car with traction control, and one without, but unfortunately, one's an M6, and one's an A4..so while I can compare those stock values...I won't know whether the difference is from the traction control or the tranny.

There are TQ management tables and then there are TCS tables. M6's pcms pull timming (anda lot of it) for regular tq management. I disabled all of them and left the tcs tables alone since they will save your *** in the rain and the snow. But the regular TQ mngmt tables were all disabled

you are talking about two different things. The pedal being pushed back is traction control (ASR/TCS). If we intend on spinning the tires chances are we have turned asr off so the pcm wont pull the pedal but it WILL PULL Timing, and we are getting rid of the timing pull and leaving the tcs intact for safety purposes (rain/snow)

Well I put in about 8 runs at the track last night and I disable tq mngt for two runs and it didn't do nada. My advice is to leave it alone. Well for MN6 at least.

1: Open your editor, go to Edit>Transmission>Torque Management.
2: Set Abuse Mode Enable False
