Default P0410 code how to fix?

I've got a 00 corvette and keep getting the P0410 code. I'm pretty sure it has somthing to do with a secondary air injection pump type malfunction. If I'm right where is it? How common is this? And what's the easiest fix?

Thanks
Rich.

Lets try this in the PCM section.

My experience with a simular code was a bad pump. Got water in it.

Does anyone else have more info on this code? My cousin's 00 Corvette is throwing this code as well.
Code is P0410: secondary air injection malfunction
Could it be anything besides a bad pump? How much is one? How hard is it to change?
Thanks!

I repeatedly get this same code on my '02 Firehawk. Can't help though. I came here looking for answers.

As you can see from my sig, I have minimal mods.

i have a autodata code book that i use with my scanner probable causes are as listed AIR valve,AIR solenoid, ecm, wiring i would start with checking hose connections to the AIR valve and AIR solenoid and if you can get a scanner hooked up to it try to get some freeze frame data on when it throws the code i know some of the newer pumps have a cover also that has a felt like filter in it i had one throw a code for a dirty filter this was on a truck though it was a LSx type engine maybe this info will point you in a direction

That's good info. Thanks. I've got a scanner, but the problem is that it will be fine for weeks, then throw the code three times (always three times). The car's only got 7k on it, so I doubt it is a dirty filter, but I'll check anyway.
