I think a separate Forum for Wiring/Gauges/Electrical would be a good idea. These issues get posted & buried in several other forums now. For instance I have had to search thru the Engine, Tranny & Gears forums to find how others have installed their temp sensors. The info is here, but it takes a while to find it the way it's setup now.

I think its a great idea to give a go at, I've definitely had trouble hunting down issues before and searching for electrical posts across half a dozen forums with the search button not exactly workin great is slightly frustrating. Centralized info is great!!

Same boat I'm in right now with all this wiring to try to figure out. I'm all for it. I've had some questions that weren't really appropriate for any others.

I posted this in the Drag Tech section this morning.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-tech/295057-aftermarket-gauges-w-stock-pcm.html

It would be cool to have more than just the Drag guy's to see it

I believe that anything related to OEM or After Market Control Modules (including wiring questions), scanning and tuning should be in this forum. I also believe as I mentioned before that we should have a separate forum called Electrical Systems, Wiring and Accessories which would cover gages, etc. Now, there might be an exception regarding WBAFR wiring and interfacing with Scanners and pyrometers (exhaust gas or turbine inlet temperature gages) that would be appropriately handled here.

Thanks for the continued responses. I will talk to Tony and we will hopefully give it a shot unless he has strong negative feelings about it.

I think its a great idea John
As we continue to mod our cars more and more, that usually means more electrical work as well.
I recently had my ENTIRE car's electrical system redone so that it looks OEM again instead of a million different wires running everywhere tapping off of every other wire and ground

I agree, could have all the wiring diagrams in one place. Couple days ago was doing a special dual window switch (different styles) and went to a half dozen forums and used search, to no avail, even went to the manfufactures site/forum. I finally figured it out myself. This would help the hobby guy out a lot, lets do it. I have many diagrams to submit.

Humm, could put up stickies of ohm's law
Might be a good idea, it would prolly work that & an A/C forum. There seems to be as many posts about that 'in season'
