Default Some predator questions

I recently picked up a Predator from a board member on another board (GTO board). Saturday we had a dyno day. The car pulled an avg of 292hp 310tq 100% stock. I installed the preadator tune and it pulled the same numbers.

Here is the dyno sheet (only 2 of the runs as all the runs were very similar)

With the tune the AF did lean out about .5.

I did some 3rd gear pulls on the street and only saw 19deg of timing. Isn't this a bit low? The car is a 2004 GTO (10:1CR). I see people running 26-7deg. The predator will allow me to go up a bit, but I'm still a ways off.

No knock retard, o2's in the mid to high 900s.

Any advice? I am a few minutes away from dumping this preadator and getting HPTuners or EFILive..

Your instincts are right.

My F-body Predator did push +6 degrees of timing and that
-should- show up as -something-. But I hear the GTOs are ping
prone and maybe the Predator for those, is less aggressive
on spark. Also that people with GTOs are seeing positive
LTFTs from factory tunes; if so in your case, you can't trust
that the Predator did anything to the mixture (it didn't
touch my PE table with the canned tune); the difference
could just be in how you rolled on the throttle, which trim
cell you were in just before WOT.

The only other thing that comes to mind is if i'm in the low-octane map. Would a ecm reset put me back in the other map?

On the otherhand I just looked at a stock 2004 GTO PCM .tun file in EFILive (Demo mode) and it looks like stock timing is ~18deg and with the IAT's in the 80-90deg range its subtracting -1deg.
