Default maf lb/min

How many lb/min are you guys getting at wot. The only recent log I have shows about 39.X at 6000 rpm. Is this in range for a cam only car? I know everybody's numbers will prob. be different b/c of scaling the maf or something but I just want a rough idea. If I remember right, my car only did high 20s stock.

Your numbers sound about right. A rough rule of thumb is 10 rwhp per lb/min.

Yeah you should only be getting 15-20 there. Do you have an aftermarket maf?

40.76 @ 6026rpms. If I go to the dyno and show 407 rwhp I think I will crap my pants in joy.

I'm seeing 44.68@6506 rpms. Are you supposed to see 10whp for every 1lbmin logged?

it may also depend on how fast you are willing to go, 45 lb/min for me is at like 145 mph...

This is a reading of the amount of air passing the mass air flow, correct? So, how do you relate this to power? "If" the rest of the system does its part correctly, you "could" produce this much power?

i see 40+, and i doubt i'm over 350. this is a horrible approximation i think, as you dont' take volumetric efficiency into consideration. i guess if we took a lot of data (from teh same dyno at that!) we could come up with some sort of correlation beweetn airflow and hp ratings.
