Great product and super customer service from these guys.
Not to mention that the software upgrades are FREE. I have been using the efilive software from the very beginning and it only gets better. Flashscan is very easy to use and is very fast. The compare feature between two different files is great.
There is so much this software will do it seems endless.

You're right about the logging at 24*10, it is not difficult, but it is *very* useful.
FlashScan also supports user defined rates from 16Hz down to 0.0333Hz (i.e. 1 frame per 30 seconds) for those really long trips.
At 1 frame per 30 seconds, you would get about 4.5 days of logging.
More realistically, at around 1 frame per second you would get about 3.8 hours of logging

see, with memory card, instead of turning down the rate, you can just buy a bigger mem card ultimately i want to be able to log 6 30min sessions at maximum resolution. whether that will go on one card or 6 separate ones, i don't care, but with time it will be financially feasable to end up on one card.

If you end up tuning many vehicles, we have an upgrade option that allows you to "trade in" your PCM licenses for a discount on the Workshop (unlimited) version. Tuning 75 cars will bring the price of the Workshop (unlimited) version down to only $1,040.00 This seems to the be the preferred method for mid to low volume tuning shops to obtain the Workshop (unlimited) version.

Good to see Efilive here , have seen a lot of good and useful info on their site and am sure that the knowledge that they bring with them will be of benefit here .
the demo version of flashscan looks good (I have HPT) if flashscan had been around 6 months ago i would have had a tough decision between the two

Although, now that V7.2 is pretty much complete (just documentation changes and installation packaging to go) we will be getting back into full swing on the 98 development. So you can expect to start hearing more info on the 98s as work progresses.

haha no...you buy one cable $699 add 23 more cars@$99 a pop=$3000+buy another cable @$699 add 23 more cars@$99 a pop=$3000+buy another cable@$699 add 23 more cars@$99 a pop=$3000...if my addition is correct you wouldve spent ~$9000 for 75 cars...you are then entitled to 75*$99*80% = $5,940.00 off the retail price of the Workshop version, which brings the price from $6,980.00 down to an amazingly low $1,040.00
so by the time its all said and done you've spent $10 grand on something you couldve gotten for $6980 off the bat.

foff667 is right. The total cost of purchasing 75 PCM licenses is $8,928 which $1,948 more than purchasing the unlimited workshop version at the beginning for $6,980.
The benefit of the plan is that you can start off with a very small investment to make sure EFILive is right for your business. And you know that each time you buy a PCM license you are actually investing most of the cost of that license in a Workshop version.
We have many customers who have nearly filled their first cable, one very busy tuner has already filled 2 cables. They have been able to spread the load of purchasing their PCM licenses over 3 or 4 months.

Will there be a 2 or 3 bar upgrade for the 98's or is there already one? I bought HP tuners for the 2-3 bar upgrade but they decided it wasn't worth it for the 98's about 3 months after I had spent my money.
If there is a 2-3 bar upgrade for us FI'ed 98 guys on the horizion i'd have no problem spending the money(again) to have this feature so I can tune my FI'ed 98 to its full capabilities.
Thanks.
