In Car Wideband help?...
I am looking at getting a in car wideband for my STS turbo'd car and was wondering what was the recommended company to go with. I have read about FJO, AEM, and a couple of others. I was wondering what the difference between the manufacturers is. I don't need logging or RPM signal wires, just the sensor, controller and guage.
What do you recommend and why?
Where is a good place to purchase it from?
I have also read that you want to put the sensor 6-12"s after the turbo, is this neccessary or even fessible with a rear mount set up?
TIA

as the dynojet one...minimal differences id assume and all would do the trick...comes down to a matter of styling in the end...i would assume you could just throw it in the ypipe before the turbo for the sts setup. Sponsor list would be a good place to start in purchasing-------->

You want the sensor far enough back that the
sensor heater, not the exhaust gas temp, has
authority. As far back on the I-pipe as the cable
will let you, would be my recommendation.
I think you're mistaken in not wanting logging.
Real time goes by too fast and when you really
care about the info is just when you should be
paying attention to the road / track instead.
At least you would like a voltage mode output
that could be logged by a tuning tool like
HPTuners w/ EIO or EFILive FlashScan.
I believe there are some all-in-one, simple gauge
style WBO2 products now but they never held
much interest for me (I don't care about eye
candy, I just bought the tool to do the job and
mostly it rests in its case, in between).
