I got a 2000 SS A4 with 3.23 gears that is bone stock besides a predator. My question is what are the factory shift points for each gear and what is the rev limiter set at? I want to know where to set my rev limiter and shift points for each gear to get the most out of my car and still be safe. Thanks!

 

Unless you altered the shift points and rev limiter, they should still be at the factory settings. If they have been altered, I believe the factory settings were:

6190rpm rev limiter for all 4 gears
6000rpm shift points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5900rpms for 4th
(Not sure about the MPH shift points)

There's no reason to raise the rev limiter any more than 6200rpms on a stock car. Shift points should be set so that you don't hit the limiter. Just remember the car won't shift exactly at the points indicated.
