Any update for the 98's yet? It's been months since they promised it would be out.

How much better is this than a predator? I've heard good things about the predator but also some bad stuff but the vinci i have only heard good things about have yet to hear anything bad. What make it so great? I'm just trying to decide which to get.

I think I read somewhere that the Vinci can help with stall converter issues...Is this true or is the stall lock up issues still limited to a full tuning program?

I just picked up a Vinci tuner. I plan on starting out with the Hi performance stock cam program w/ stock fuel and timing settings. My '02 M6 Z28 has SuperMaxx long tubes w/cats, SLP 2OTL, ported stock TB, and an SLP lid. What adjustments are you guys running with yours, and what are your corresponding mods?

well, my friend (jwitt2) used the hiperf/stock cam. i think he added 10% timing and may have removed 5% fuel. but, i'll have to check with him on that.

Sorry to be a buzz kill on the 98 scene, but I've been hearing they are doing the final testing on the 98's for a year and a half now. Don't get your hopes up. They have been doing "more testing next week" for ever. At this rate you might not have gears, wheels/tires on your car for a looong time. It sounds like SCT is gonna beat Vinci to the finishing line and take all their business.

http://www.vincihighperformance.com/...TS%20PAGE.HTML $429.00

well, they know the 97-98 tuner works in the automatics. i've personally tested that myself. right now, it's a matter of it working in the m6 cars. the person that is letting vinci use his car for the testing just got back from california. they have to do testing on the persons vehicles that are donating their time permits.

i've talked with one of the guys 'in the know' for SCT. their new version isn't even ready yet for any GM, just fords. just like vinci, they are waiting for some test vehicles. so, they've got some catching up to do. from what i've read, it only comes with 3 preset tunes. vinci comes with 7 preset tunes. two of which are for superchargers.

Hi
Yes it may be a while. I think I will divert to headers, Konis and a few Spohn parts for now. I will come back to the tuning later.
