hptuners eio problems (help)
hptuners eio problems (help) here it goes
1. i hooked up my eio yesterday to my lc-1. i drove it around with the scanner on table settings. i drove it for 5 minutes or so.
2. a couple hours later i go out to my car and upload a tune with the changed parameters like described on hptuners website (how to tune using wideband). i attempted to flash it. it would not connect. after 3 times it did. i have never had an issue with connections. i use a serial card in my laptop.
3. i attempted to then open scanner (table and histogram). it started to work as i played it. then as i recorded it said attempting to reconnect, but after the 10 attempts at the bottom of the screen it said connected. my light was still on for the serial card. this is the problem. it will not stay connected for more than 2 minutes or so.
4. when it does run for a couple of minutes. i see the readings. this is another thing i dont understand.
in the histogram the readings are the same at every point. the accurate reading reads 11.3, the ltft reads +18, the stft are 0. then in the table the high frequency afr reads 12.96, then the lc-1 reads 11.3 or so. what does this mean. why are the tables not changing. is this correct.
if anyone can shed light on these subjects it would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

This sounds like the problem they had with the
early production units, they have a recall where
you send it back to Casper's to get fixed. I just
did this too, Casper's got mine on the 18th and
I had it back on the 25th. Email support@hptuners
and go through the drill.
