Default force motor current troubles

Working on a 99 C5. when I start out driving the Force Motor Current (FMC) desired and actual change as they are suposed to. My FMC line pressure also changes. Now as soon as I go to full throttle and run thru the gears my FMC goes to 0 (actual and desired) and FMC pressure goes to 38%. They then stay there for the rest of the drive. they are locked at 0 and 38%. This makes for a very hard part throttle shift. Any clues? Should I be seeing higher then 38% at WOT?
Thanks,
Charles

That's peculiar. Why the desired pressure would go to 38%
I don't know. But I might suspect that you slid over onto
some "Hot" table or something. Does this car have a trans
cooler? You might look at the trans fluid temp, look for
immature trans related codes, that kind of thing. I can't
see any "Hot" tables that might put you into a full-pressure-
always commanded situation, but that doesn't mean they
don't exist, only haven't been dug up and presented.

38% force motor pressure and 0 force motor current don't
make sense. 0 current is full pressure. Something is kooky
there. Has this PCM been previously tuned on?

No it hasn't. I put the stock tune back in it and everything is fine. I might start out changing one thing at a time and see what happens.
