You can use a Wide Band on any vehicle just about. If you are going to use a one channel unit you want to mount it where it will see both exhaust streams otherwise you will only measure one side. I have a FAST system on my GN and it's in the DP. My friends 8 sec GN is the same without any measuring issues either.

It shouldn't be an issue at all. The easiest way to tell if it isn't working well is you get lazy readings. An O2 display should always be moving around at part throttle (driving).

this sucks, i was just reading on the aem website, they say put the wideband 02 sensor before the cats. and v8 cars should use a dual channel.

I wouldn't waste your money on a dual channel setup. Wide bands are the ticket for tuning. None of the aftermarket systems (FAST,MOTEC) use dual sensors. Once you get a decent tune done, you should be all set. Don't get all wrapped up in the hype about widebands. Think of all the power these motors can make with just normal O2 sensors and a good tune?
