I think that is one of the tables referenced to help determine the actual spark delivered to the motor. If your coolant temps get too high, this table should reduce some of the spark (IIRC) to prevent detonation. I would also think it may add some timing when the coolant temps are lower and change nothing at normal operating temps. But, I'm not 100% being at work and all.

It is one of the many tables that determine advance or retard based on condition. I can think of better tables to modify if I want to add or pull spark. You're right, pulling 10 degrees of timing when airflow is lower and the engine coolant is 130 degrees looks drastic to the eye. At that state most cars like ours are still warming up, though.

Yup--what does your table say? Between 176 and 221 degrees I am at zero across the board. Above 230 it starts to pull timing at higher airflows. Below 176 ther's a few lower airflow spots where timing is pulled.

mine had negative up to 185* so i zeroed it all out down to 167 since i run there in cold weather. maybe that was messing with some of my tuning a little and how the car ran, thats odd.
