Engine cuts off while driving on the highway...??????????
Engine cuts off while driving on the highway...?????????? I was driving at a steady 60mph on the highway when I got an ses light and moments later a check engine light, then the engine cuts off completely. The electricity stayed on.
I coast to a stop on the side of the road and turn off the ignition. I wait a few moments and turn the ignition back on - no ses or check engine lights. Fuel level gauge turns back after a few seconds and I restart car. It starts right back up.
Pretty freaky.
Is there a way that I can use HP tuners to see what happened?
I am always logging. This was the first time in months that I did not have the laptop hooked up while driving.
