Pulled the intake off and checked for vaccum leaks everything seemed be ok no cracked lines or fittings and I replace the clear plastic hose for my vaccum modulator for the tranny with a real vaccum line. I also put my stock bellows back on and made sure that there were no leaks there. My car smells very rich again like it did after the install but I did A/F tuning with a friends wideband that took care of the rich smell but its returned again. I wonder if my O2s are going bad? Oh and the car still surges!

I just logged the car and noticed that my IAC's count starts at 15Xs and go down to 13Xs how do I get it down lower. Would this effect my surging if not what would you guys reccomend. I can post up some snap shots of some of my logs.

you can crack open the TB with the set screw to get the voltage up to about .61 or so, dont know if i mentioned that before or if you have tried that

You did but you were also saying that if I drilled the tb and open up the set screw I would be out of my affective area. I've noticed that i have to stand on the brakes a lot more now it feels like the car is wanting push through the brakes. I also pulled alll the plugs and they were all fouled out. I replaced them with new ones and the car seems to act a little better but it still surges.

Me to, me to! There is a local tuner that has HPT I will most likely take my car to him. I would like to figure it out with what I've got but I getting very aggravated with the surging and my gas mileage is really sucking it went from 270-290 per tank to 190-210 per tank thats a lot to lose! Gas is $2.56 gallon here!

your RAF is off, i figured out how to calculate it right (in excel), if you pm me your email, i can send it to you. i'm still testing the spreadsheet, once it's more tested i'll make it public, so far we tested it on 3 cars and it's dead on.

I got to ask will this work for LS1edit? Every other excel spread sheet that I got only worked for HPT or EFIlive.

as long as you can scan for ECT, STIT and the two LTIT's, you're good to go. that's why i do things in excel and not anything more program-specific

I logged the car today and found that my IACs steps started at 160s and would go down to 130s. I looked at some of my logs before I did the H/C swap and found that my IAC steps were about 40. What should I do to lower these values? If I could get this straight it should get my tune closer to where I want it.

Yes I have edit! I working on the funds for HPT but it will be at least a month before I get it. I've got other bills to pay.LOL The IACs have to be one of the biggest problems my car is having besides the real shitty fuel mileage I'm getting. I'm getting about 12 mpg and I'm really taking it easy on my right foot. I'm used to getting 18-20 but thats before the H/C.

Amazing the trouble that a dying (and not throwing a code it for months) crank postion sensor caused when trying to tune this car.
