going rich at WOT by fuel trims at the strip, give me a hand please?

from what i see 2:38 is the transition from FTC 20 to FTC 19 and i saw this in my other logs. i assume this is when the car feels the o2s are hot enough for the oscillation to be considered accurate? i reset the trims and they are zeroed for now. ill find out thurs night hopefully if it was only in need of a reset. i still dont know why and would like to know why the trims when in ftc 20 and 22 lock onto +11 to +9. anyone have explainations?

Hi PMack,
A couple of conclusions I've drawn from my logs recently:
1. The determining factor for entering and exiting FTC's 20, 21, and 22 is the evap purge. I have found no other difference between 22 and 15. (yet)
2. STFT's always lock at zero when commanded AFR is not 14.63. If STFT's are locked at zero, obviously LTFT's will not be learning.
3. Thus, if the car is IN closed loop AND the evap system is purging :: FTC 20, 21, and 22 can and will learn.
That is at least one place where these non-zero trims are coming from. In my log, it occurs between 40 seconds and 1:40 seconds very consistently in my logs.
I have a post on HPTuners describing in detail what I'm seeing.
John.

this is the quickest possible only full proof method to solve the problem and it happens to be the easiest I have the exact same problem and disable lt's give it a shot
