TCC - tuning question

TCC - tuning question Is there any advantage to lock the TCC at higher mph than stock?
I have the standard Vortech program (from Superchip) and they set the TCC to lock only after 50 mph (3rd adn 4th).
It also unlocks at higher speed than stock (both gears).
Is it to pick up some RPM and produce more boost at low speed?
Car feels not bad but I can't tell if it's much better than the stock TCC settings.
Trans temperature is a little higher also because of continous slipping at low speed
Car has 2.73 rear ratio
