What if your IAC counts are around 110 warmed up but your idle is halfway decent? should I keep working to get it down? right now I haven't drilled or used the setscrew, is it worthwhile to play with that just to try to get a number down?

110 is too high, even with the AC on. You should shoot for 30-50 IAC counts with AC off at fully warm idle. If you can crack the throttle with the set screw, that would be the best way, but in my case, I cracked the throttle too far and got the voltage threshold. As a result, I got my IAC counts by doing both the throttle cracking and drilling the TB blade.

Patrick- When you say you cracked theTB and got the voltage threshold, did you get a SES light or just get out of range idle parameters? I think I'm at .68 volts and at 34 IAC at idle warm in park right now.

Cool, I'll work on that tomorrow maybe... AC? Whats AC? I hear it just takes up space in your engine bay...

No James, I didn't get the light, but I would have had I not backed off. With this lumpy cam, it needed more airflow than I could give it with just cracking the throttle. Had to drill it some too. Your IAC counts sound good. You may want to check with Larry on the voltage threshold. It's been a while and I forgot exactly what it is...I just remember I was right there.

i think the threshold is something like 0.71 v or so. but i may be wrong. the other problem you have to worry about with that voltage is the tps not staying reset. when i had the epoxy in my tb and it was restricting airflow, when i had to crack open the tb it woudl reset after a week and at idle it was 1-2%
