Is it a bad idea to weld an O2 bung in front of my existing one?
Like the title says, I want to install an additional O2 bung about an inch in front of my existing one on my QTP headers (wide band installation). I was wondering if that is a bad idea? will an additional O2 in front of the other one in the exhaust streem throw off my existing O2? Thanx in advance.
P.S. I know I can use input #1 on my LC-1 to simulate a stock narrow band but I decided to add an additional O2 anyway.

weeekends are generally pretty slow in this section FYI
But, I don't think it's a problem... so long as it's not causing the exhaust to bypass the stock sensor...
I have mine mounted at a 90* angle (points towards the other side of the car) in front of my stock front sensor... no ill effects

you can kinda see it there.. it's in the collector on the drivers side

Thanx guy's I got it welded up today and seem's to be working good,BTW my car seem's to run way better with the stock O2 instead of using the simulated O2 output 1 of the LC-1 in place of B2 sensor 1(I think that's what it's called), I just plugged my LC-1 into the postcat O2 plug and now I'm using the simulated O2 output 1 of the LC-1 as a post cat O2 simm and sending the other output 2 to my scanning software, I't works geat that way and I have no O2 trouble codes yet. Knock on wood.
