Default Tune

Had my car tuned by a local shop but the car still bucks, and hunts for idle. Is it supposed to still do that even after the tune? The cam is a custom grind but is almost exactly the same as the magic stick. Can the tune be better or do I need gears?

Your tune can be A LOT better.

Start here:

Once you get your tuning software, you will want to get a Wideband O2 sensor.

IMO, it would be better for you to get your own software so you can get your tune the way you like/want it.

WOT is easy to tune - your tuner all ready did that. Overall drivability is a whole different story. Once you get your part throttle tuning worked out, you can go back for a new WOT tune on the dyno. BTW - it's much cheaper to rent a dyno for you to tune than to pay someone else to do it.
