Default Service engine soon DAMNIT

I left the Intake Air Temp Sensor unplugged by accident. After that The service light came on. I replugged it and now the light is still on. Any way to reset it or check the diagnostics without a tuner/reader?

yes

- insert your key and leave in the on position
- pop the hood and pull the pcm batt fuse (10 amp, red, i think)
- wait 5-10 minutes
- put fuse back in - you will hear a relay click
- turn key to off position, and wait a couple of seconds
- start your engine
- the light will be cleared, and if done this way, you won't have to relearn your fuel trims or idle.

I've done it this way about 10 times (dont ask) and it works every time.

You could have also just left it alone and after a certain amount of miles, the light would have went off. I know because it happened to me and at about 50 miles or so the light went off when I put the sensor back in.

The "other way?"

Unplug the battery? That's the only other way I know.

Hi Ya'll,

Just got my 1999 WS6 with Ram Air. Lovin every minute of it. Today I got the check engine light. What does this mean? Does it have to do with emissions? should I be concerned? What to do? Thank you

Autozone will scan it for free. Could be something as simple as an O2 sensor. Write down the code and I'm sure some one here can help ya.
