Custom Tuning and Predator

OK, here's a dumb question...If you have custom tuning done with something like HPTuner, is it still possible to tweak that tuning using a stock Predator? I'm guessing the answer is no but would just like to verify. Thanks....A

I think you want to go to runningwiththedevil.com and
pull down the modified OS (?) there that they use for
the email tuning, this makes the Predator alter about
what it finds, rather than adding the offsets that they
do for assumed-stock vehicles.
Still the same small set of adjustable params but if you
already have the unit, go for it.

I believe the predator instructions said it only programs the parameters you change not the entire PCM getting flashed. Verify this with James at RWTD. The predator will treat the dyno tune as the fastory tune and store that in memory. It then makes the changes to that from what you select. It doesnt have a factory GM tune in it. It reads what is in your car to get the tune that is in it. Good thing here is that if GM flashes your PCM, you dont have to go back to the place that did your tune. This can restore it.
I would go to the source for this info. I had one and remember reading that was why it is fast to both read and flash a PCM.
