PO342 Nightmare!!!!

PO342 Nightmare!!!! Car wont start about 50% of the time. I know its the cam posistion sensor.....But heres the deal
I had it replaced twice. And still, i keep getting this code and i keep getting a hard start.
Why wont it go away?
I thought i needed a new cam maybe that would help but Slowhawk believes its electrical....so what do i do now? Ive been trying to fix this for months and i want it fixed so i can pass inspection....also so i dont get embaressed when everyones like "OOh nice car" then it wont start!
Please help! I dont want to throw more money down the toilet
