Default Programming when changing injectors.

I currently have stock 26lb injectors in my car and my friend gave me his 28 lbers. I was told there was some changes I need to make with my HPTuner. Any info on this.

thanks.

edit->Engine->Fuel Control

Download a 2002 or 2001 stock F-Body .bin from my repository... then copy the Offset vs Volts vs KPA and Flow Rate vs KPA tables from the 01/02 file to your 00 file

I am about to perform the same swap in my car. Can someone tell me the benefits, or is a higher HP feeding ability the only one?

The 26-28 just puts you further away from maxing your injectors and gives you a *little* more fuel to work with safely

If they're free then I say go for it... but if you're going to pay for injectors... 26lb-28lb isn't that much and if you add anymore mods you'll be maxing them out soon enough too....

No, the 28# injectors are free. They are donors from a 2002 LS1 engine that only had 2,000 miles on them when they were removed for upgrades.
