Default Guys with the mototron 60#'s

I know this is in the wrong section but alot of FI guys have these injectors.

My idle is super rich 10.6 to be exact.. I tried lots of things to get this idle right but nothing worked for me. I had a bad o2 but changed it today and still sits at 10.6. Part thottle is fine with mid 14's WOT is good with low/mid 11's.

I did change the Minimum Injector PW (lowered it from 0-800 rpm's) and the AFR started to climb up but got to about 15 and stumbled a little then dropped back to 10's.

I am using HPT and still learning so you might have to say it SLOW for me to understand

How did you set up your IFR table?

Do you have a vacuum referenced fpr?

What are your ltrims? (does the pcm know it's rich and trying to fix it, or is it blind?)

Is it when the engine is cold, warm, or either?

Man Pat, hope you get this figured out soon. I've helped as much as I can with HPT stuff...just don't know what it is, i'm still saying you have a bad sensor somewhere or maybe the car is stuck in open loop?? Guessing here tho

if I remember i'll post my injector offset table for you tomorrow morning. I have a really good setup for mototron 60's. They idle pretty good, O2's end up slightly choppy on a 346 motor, but it's livable. I've done a couple cars with these now with good results.

I have the IFR starting at 62.19@0 and slowly increasing up to 68.02@80. I think I should have it set to 62.19 all the way across the board because I have the vacuum/boost reference FPR?

Where do I check to see what the ltrims are?

When I first start the car it's in the low 12's but quickly warms up and starts to drop to high 10's low 11's after full warm up its 10.6

fp at idle is 52psi

I tried lowering the VE table in the primary and secondary tables at the 0-800 range and the afr did even move a bit.(at idle that is)

Well my idle is rock solid at 900rpms, no lumpy idle nothing, just very rich and you can smell the raw fuel.

pull the vacum line off the regulator, look at the FP, do your calc for the new injector size based on that number NOT what you see with the vacum line hooked up. use that value all the way accross the board.

if your going off off your guage reading 52, I bet it reads about 57 with the vacum line off and as such you should be using a value of around 69 for your IFR not 62. use the calc in hpt to get an exact number, I am throwing around ballpark numbers

My injector offset table as promised. I don't want to answer a ton of questions about it, but I came up with it through trial and error and it took a long time. All closed loop parameters work fine for me, holds 14.7 a/f, no rich idle.

the car runs better, LTFT's look good, a/f is good even at idle on a stock motor.

Knock on wood! I lost the rear end last night so I guess I did blow something up. I might go crazy this weekend and see what 18 psi on a stock motor does though. Probably gonna pick up some c16 tonight. I'm only about 50 rwhp away from breaking the 700 rwhp mark with the stocker.

On my Gto, all I changed was the injector flow rate and minimum pulse width. Above is the IFR table numbers. It idles great, and my A/F corresponds very closely to the commanded A/F in PE mode. I haven't had any of the issues with these injectors that I have read of other people having. Sorry, but I don't know how to copy the table to make it show up just like it does in HPT.
