Default Disable Code vs. SES

I just got my copy of HP Tuners today, and I'm getting ready to make my car think it passes emissions. I have O2 sims so I don't need to worry about that, but I junked my EGR and AIR too so I need to pull those codes out. Now I know I need to set the codes to "no error reported" to pass an OBDII test, but I've heard something about the engine not falling into SD mode or something like that if you leave the engine that way. Is that a bad thing? Should I just turn the SES lights off until before I need an emissions check and then cancel the codes for a day?

My rear O2's, AIR, EGR haven't been on the car for months. all codes are disabled and I'm running a SD tune right now. Just set the codes to "no error reported" and you should be fine.

The only codes that will cause you to not be able to get into SD are P0101, P0102, and P0103. THOSE can't be set to "No Error Reported." The rest? Doesn't matter...
