A Little Help!

A Little Help! I went to AutoZone today to check what my computer was saying, about anything 
. And the guy pluged the scanner in the data port and nothing came on 
, so I popped the hood and checked the fuse and it was ok (i think it was the right one anyway?) so im at a loss for words right now. Does anyone have any advice on the matter? Thanks in advance

If the fuse is good...and the cigarette lighter is working...you can probe the DLC pins with a voltmeter to check for power - www.obdii.com/connector.html explains them. Dunno what else it could be, maybe a bad scanner/operator error at that AZ? Got another AZ you can go to?
