Ive tried hypertech and the predator now HPT.
Hypertech would of impressed my sister.
It is also way to much $ for what it does
compared to others

Have you seen the EFILive FlashScan V2 (coming out soon)...

It's operates like a "PC programmable handheld tuner".

It will allow you to download a tune into it using a PC,
and then upload this tune to the PCM without using a laptop
(i.e. "black box flashing").

Also, it will abe able to store a number of tunes and data logs at the same time.

Looking at your SIG I see you have long tubes. The hypertech FAQ explains that it isn't designed to provide advantages with major modifications such as you have.

I had one for a couple days and felt nothing, it's a waste for engine tuning. For gears, fans, limiter, and auto trans shifts is all its good for. I ended up selling it.

Does this mean that you could store say a tune for race gas, and when you get to the track load it, run with the race gas and when you fill up with regular gas switch back to a pump gas tune. that would be great if you could.

Ive seen it and for the price($699.00) I would just go with HPTuners.

vinci, no. however, it does set the parameters far enough to where a code should not be tripped. i have verified it with my own car and another friend (jwitt) that had no cats and removed the rear o2s.

Predator here, I like the real time monitoring (not logging) of data as well as the ability to load custom tunes (gained 8 HP from a RWTD tune). I like the ability to pull timing and change the fuel trims WOT for a Dry Nitrous Shot. Also I can view and clear codes (had a code thrown checked it cleared it and it has not come back, did not have to have the dealer clear it). Pretty handy. When I get into logging I will go HPT, but for entry level stuff, the Predator is very worth while.

To me this seems really sweet because not everybody has the resources to get a laptop just to tune their cars
