Why quote a post that was done back in Febuary with a comment like that? All that is going to do is get another thread locked.

PS - Soon

I bet it still makes it out quicker then 2.0 did. I am not disputing the fact that it is overdue, but we haven't been made promise after promise either. I like hearing the truth, which they have posted publcally several times. I am personally not in all that big of a hurry as I have all the features in my current v1 cable that I need.

>Last i remember,the Predator couldn't adjust idle??

Predator does the idle. The predator is the best, it even lets you shuts off the rear O2 sensors so you can pass emissions testing with no cats. Plus their are custom tuners in local dyno shops that have advanced Predator software that can go beyond the handheld tune. Once custom dyno tuned with this software they simply load it into the Predator.

What we realy need is a handheld tuner shootout!!

Is the VHP the same as the Crane PowerMax Tuner here?

If no, where do you get them? I'd like to pick up this line for our store at Tuner Tools.

When it comes out it will have been tested and will work very nicely (you don't want half-baked stuff, do you).

When it comes out, sure it will cost most than most handhelds, but only something like $300 more, but it will let you modify (using a desktop PC) 600+ tuning tables/parameters...

Plus it will be a full-on handheld scan tool with bidir controls.

Uses memory card to store multitudes of logs and tunes; no need to lug laptop around.

That has to be a serious contender for someone thinking about a handheld.

Soon... good things come to those who are patient.

P.S. this thread has nothing to do with the other tuning software.

Does the SCT Xcalibrator delete the rear o2 codes? Is it hard to get new tunes for it? Specifically for a 98!

I got a crane tunner off my friend and my car pulls harder. I like the tunner but I have not tried any other tunner. The best part is that you dont have to send it back to the dealer to use it on another car. You just turn your car back to stock and it can go right onto another car

the SCT Xcalibrator can be programmed to delete codes, or anything else that any other tuning software does, using the stock OS.
