Default Another coolant sensor problem!!

I've read similar posts about having the coolant level sensor go bad.... in T.A's. I looked for it on my 99 z28 and have yet to find it... maybe looking in the wrong place, but that lil red light's about to **** me off. I get bent out of shape if any of my sensors come on. If anybody has a pic of where it is, I'd definately appreciate the help. Thanks in advance

My car doesn't have one, think they did away with them in 2K. Should be on the passenger side of the radiator below the cap. You can try cleaning it, replace it, or just unplug the sensor and the light will go off and just check your fluid once in a while.

My sensor just went out last weekend. I've made sure the coolant level is ok and I plan on unplugging the sensor tonight after work. 2000 and newer fbodies did not have the sensor, which proves to me that it really isn't necessary (just remember to check it every once in a while).

I never did see any plugs going to any sensors on my radiator is the reason I was (and still am) confused as to where the sensor is. I could just be retarded too, I dunno.

Grab a flashlight and look just below the radiator cap. It's a flat, rectangular sensor with a small 2 or 3 wire weather pack connector attached to it. See pic.

Hi

before you pull anything appart, disconnect the battery and then reconnect it. The light may go away after rebooting the PCM.
