SLP 85mm MAF: Remove resistor???
I saw that the SLP has a resistor soldered on it. Is this to try and make it's flow more closely match the stock MAF to the computer? I did a couple logs before and after the SLP and the ltft's are reasonably close using the stock MAF table.
Should I remove the resistor and then use the stock Z06 MAF table? I don't really want to go through all the trouble of calibrating the SLP MAF. Doesn't someone have a calibrated table available for the generally used aftermarket MAF's? I mean lots of people say to leave the stock MAF in and don't ever change it because the MAF table is right. Can't anyone just use a MAF table for the SLP MAF, or Z06 maf or truck maf or whatever?

table or the truck tables will do, if the resistor is gone.
The 6.0 truck table is slightly richer in effect and I prefer
it (especially the one that properly populates the low end).
