Torque management question

torque management pulls timing right, Is this visible on HPTuners scanner as retard?

When you scan your timing advance, I believe it should show negative values for when torque management is enabled while driving, I don't think it will show up as knock retard though.

Will not show as knock retard. Just watch your advance as stated above to see tq. mgt. in action.

I´m wondering because i have som knock when i start from 0 mph. But only then? I was thinking i might be torque management.

Sounds like burst knock. Large, rapid changes in air flow can cause knock sometimes. May also be false due to '98s history of reporting false knock.

Is it possible there is a spark modifer table that HPT can't see but something like EFI Live could?
