I didn't say there were any programs better...i just said its not all that good...considering there still is no scanner included to my knowledge & from what i read alot of people have issues not only with reading their lt1 files but many others. Email support is...eh...and there are very few active sites to help you through issues specific to TC. Last edited by foff667; Oct 17, 2005 at 01:14 PM.

"Everytime I read a PCM with the OBD-II software on LT1's, I come across the same problem. After the read, I turn off the ignition for a LOT more than 30 seconds and then try to start the car up but it wont. I have to unhook the battery for like 10 minutes and it would start up fine. Is this a problem that only I'm having, or have others experienced it? It's happened on 2 cars already ... well, I've only read 2 PCM's for now."
you-"Seems to be the norm on every 96-97 I read. Only does it on reads, never on writes. I've contacted TC about it and since so far there is no fix, it guess it is considered a feature and not a problem. I believe pulling the PCM fuse will do the same thing as unhooking the battery cable and may be easier."
and as far as the scanner goes not many of Tc owners have even "used" that lol since its still in beta as far as I know.
